Thanks to Third Planet for sponsoring the Lawrence Zombie Walk!
And as some of you may know, the KU Homecoming Parade was scheduled on Mass Street an hour before the zombie walk because the didn't realize our event was going on. Everyone has met up and compared timelines and plans, the only thing that will change is moving our group a bit to give the parade space to marshal.
And here's a link to the LJ World article mentioning us!

Post walk wrapup
We had over 1100 participants in this year's Lawrence Zombie Walk, plus a zombie clinic at the Lawrence Public Library and a local cosmetology school set up to do face painting at South Park. $1600 was raised through shirt sales and will be divided between the two charities, plus $200 worth of items were donated to the humane society. Great job, everyone, we nearly doubled last year's donations!
The next zombie walk will be Thursday, October 3rd, 2013. Mark your calendars.
